Get to know Sherry Kotecki, the clinical supervisor at our Austin urology practice

As one of the biggest urology practices in Austin, NAU Urology Specialists is a busy place. Thankfully, we have Sherry Kotecki working as the clinical supervisor at our Austin urology practice. She uses her organizational skills and compassion to make our clinic a great place to receive care and a wonderful place to work.

Sherry understands how frustrating and uncomfortable urology issues can be for men and women. As a result, she is happy to support our doctors, nurse practitioners and nurses in providing exceptional care to our patients.

Sherry has lived all over the United States. She was born in Southern California and moved to Northern California at the age of 10. She lived in Wisconsin for three years and in Illinois for 19 years. She moved to Austin in 2017.

Sherry Kotecki has been in the medical field since 2014, and she has worked in urology, gastroenterology, primary care and cardiology. Before that, she was a teacher’s aide from kindergarten through second grade for nine years.

She started at our Austin urology practice as a medical assistant in 2017. Then, she became clinical supervisor in early-2021. Sherry loves working with patients, clinical staff and providers, and she strives for a great work environment as well as excellent patient care.

In her spare time, Sherry enjoys listening to live music, watching the Chicago Blackhawks and exploring walking trails. She is also a wine enthusiast who can be found trying new wineries on the weekend with her husband, Mike.

She has two children. Amber is a general manager at Anytime Fitness, and Brandon recently graduated from Texas A&M with a degree in Electrical Engineering. Her grand-dog is an adorable German shepherd named Poseidon.
