Stephen Macenas, PA-C, grew up in Naperville, Illinois. Stephen attended Purdue University as a Chick Evans Scholar recipient studying biology. He graduated and worked in Chicago as an EMT before attending University of Dubuque in Iowa for his Masters of Physician Assistant Studies. Stephen started as a PA-C in the South Loop of Chicago for two years. During this time, Stephen precepted students for Yale, Midwestern and Rosalind Franklin and Rush.
With his gained experience, Stephen then began work as a travel medicine Provider to help under served populations in rural California and Washington in family medicine, urgent care and emergency medicine.
Outside of managing urological conditions, his interests extend to the integration of AI in healthcare, preventive medicine, and nutrition, with aspirations for clinical research in alternative therapies. He provides oversight for our wellness and weight loss program and nutraceutical therapies.
Stephen operates a sticker company, runs a real estate club, loves rockclimbing, and can be found doing DIY projects for the house or back packing with his border collie, Nox.
