Elizabeth “Liz” Dismuke provides years of experience and a great deal of enthusiasm
Liz Dismuke was born in a small town in Utah but she and her family moved to the great state of Texas when she was three months of age. Growing up, she was surrounded by health care workers helping her family. Liz’s father was a quadriplegic who required daily nursing staff and physical therapy several times a week. Watching how hard they worked and cared for her father – someone they hardly knew – impacted her at a young age. She knew that whatever career she chose, she hoped to be able to work in a field so full of love and compassion so she understandably chose a career in the medical field.
Liz knows all aspects of our Austin urology practice
In 2009, Liz joined Dr. Mistry as a medical assistant as he was a solo practitioner at the time. It didn’t take long for Liz to fall in love with urology and sexual medicine. The ability to contribute to the care of patients with acute situations as well as chronic, sometimes lifetime issues, brought such joy. As the practice grew it was always a priority to make sure compassion and patient care remained a priority. Liz was in the role of clinical supervisor for seven years before advancing to her current position of practice manager.
You will find Liz outdoors during her spare time
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Richard and family on their ranch. You might catch her in the garden or with a fishing pole in her hand.
