Heather Lenz, PA-C
Heather Lenz, PA-C, grew up in a small north Texas town, Celina, for most of her life. She then transitioned to city life in Austin to attend the University of Texas at Austin. While at UT, she completed a Bachelor of Science and Arts degree in Chemistry with an additional Pre-Health Professions focus.
Heather always envisioned herself in healthcare and while attending college worked in both the optometry and pharmacy fields. After her undergraduate degree, she explored dermatology while working as a medical assistant. She ultimately decided upon becoming a Physician Assistant and attended the University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas where she completed a Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies.
Heather loves to connect with her patients and wanted to work in a field that allowed for continuity of care, thus, she started her career in Family Medicine. This foundation allowed her to transition into the urological field and she chose to join our practice in 2020. Also, she wanted to further emphasize the importance of preventative healthcare and a holistic approach to medicine. Heather appreciates the variety that urology has to offer but is particularly interested in men’s and women’s sexual health and BPH treatment. She also chose urology because it is incredibly impactful and affects most men and women at some point in their lifetime.
In her free time, Heather enjoys painting and seeing new movies at Alamo Drafthouse. She loves spending time with friends and seeing beautiful views while traveling. Heather and her husband, Matthew, have two dogs, Guardian and Bebe.
