As the surgery scheduler for Dr. Ong, Dr. Yang and Dr. Jacomides, Elizabeth works with patients to make sure they get a surgery time that works for their schedule and diagnosis. Patients always appreciate her helpful nature and strong organizational skills. Elizabeth loves being able to make a difference for our patients at our Austin urology practice.

Born and raised in Austin, Elizabeth is a third generation Austinite. She had an impressive career in restaurant management before joining our Austin urology practice in 2017. When she first started her career with us, she worked as a patient care coordinator. In that role, she worked with patients every day to ensure that they received the care they needed. She also acted as a liaison between each patient and their doctor.
It didn’t take long for our team to recognize Elizabeth Henson as a strong leader. Her leadership skills and commitment to our patients earned her a promotion to surgery scheduler for Dr. Ong, Dr. Yang and Dr. Jacomides. In this role, Elizabeth loves continuing to learn more about urology and the medical field from the experts around her.
In her spare time, Elizabeth enjoys freshwater fishkeeping and spending time with her fur babies Frankie (cat) and Pinkie (dog), who are both 20 pounds. She also enjoys eating adventurously and exploring Austin with her husband, John. As a lifelong Austin resident, she’s a loyal Longhorns fan! Hook ‘Em, Horns!
